Updating album track information

Unless you start out with the mindset to keep things organized, you will eventually end up with some cleaning up to do later on.

The clean-up might be time-consuming if you need to update the ID3 tags or it might be simple like finding album art and adding it to your music files.

NOTE Vista doesn't come from Microsoft with DVD playback capability, except in the editions containing Media Center—Vista Home Premium and Vista Ulimate.

If your version of Vista does not contain Media Center and you want to play back DVD video and files, you must first install a hardware or software DVD decoder on your system.

This is a real drag because for a lot of the albums it will remove the album covers and I'll have to embark upon a crusade on the internet to get them all back.

At first I thought the album art was the only thing it was touching but then I noticed it was also changing some of the album info...example, on the American Beauty album I have by the Grateful Dead, it would keep the first half of the album as it was, American Beauty by Grateful Dead, but would change the second half to be American Beauty by The Grateful Dead.

With i Tunes 11, the way in which you enter your track’s information into the Gracenote database has changed a bit.
