They are limited to only using predefined letters, or printing each letter individually for every customer. Most of the code examples that are more than a couple of lines long are actual working code that really do something that can be seen. Color = RGB(i Top Row Fill RGB1, i Top Row Fill RGB2, i Top Row Fill RGB3) global Wksht. B5&","&B6 ; semi-colon (;) in VBA can be used instead of ampersand (&) in the PRINT or WRITE statements EXAMPLE: Print #1, "Value of X="; x; vb Cr Lf; "value of y="; y % percent sign (%) in VBA forces a numeric to work like an Integer @ at sign (@) in VBA forces a numeric to work like currency ! ) in VBA forces a numeric to work like the data type of Single In Excel formulas, it divides between a worksheet name and its range e.b. Type as the very first line "option explicit" and hit OK. This line forces the editor to validate some things in the code. Once you leave a line, VBA Editor does some formatting and syntax checking every time you go to a new line. Cut-and-paste the below code into the VBA Editor window: ' PURPOSE: in a 7-paired-columns x 8-row grid, show the values and color for all 56 values of the Color Index property Sub Color Indexes() ' in a constant value variable, set up some values. When I first starting really getting into VBA, it was pretty invaluable to me to be able to read over my code. Some of these add-ins were (a list of which can be found here) Colo’s HTMLMaker, Excel Jeanie 4, ASAP Utilities, etc. A few years ago I asked Juan Pablo González, original developer of the VBHTMLMaker add-in (amongst other collaborators) if I could amend his add-in.

There are a few add-ins to help you post things to make it present nicely when viewed.

which obviously isn't working because the screen updates a whole lot afterwards. I almost wish this were more complicated; the fact that everything looks so simple is making it difficult to think of what could possibly be happening! So this morning application.screen Updating was working as expected. The test code that I wrote is below: Sub test() Debug. One thing that seems to be common among those modules not working, is that they all contain code that changes worksheets. In any case, it's a real mystery why this happens from one day to another!

I started to debug, and immediately after the "Screen Updating = false" line executes, I go to the immediate window and type: Debug. Any clues on how to solve it would be greatly appreciated. Screen Updating = True End Sub _________________________________________________________ Private Sub Check_for_Open_Workbook() Application.

Sub load Portfolio() Dim i Test As Integer, portfolio Version As String Application. :-) Basically, after all those statements (and between each one) Screen Updating remains "True". Screen Updating = False For i = 1 To 10000 Worksheets("Sheet1"). Screenupdating = False worked perfectly in Excel 2007 until last week, when it remained True however many times I tried to set it to False.
