I found this issue would only happen on Windows Vista and Windows 7.I found that it was a problem with the TCP Auto Tuning, apparently this problem occurs if a network hardware device, such as a router, does not support TCP Window Scaling.disabled: This setting as used above uses a fixed value for tcp. highlyrestricted: This setting allows the receive window to increase beyond its default value by a small amount only normal: default value, allows the receive window to grow to accommodate most conditions experimental: This is for extreme situations only where the TCP value cuold be huge. This is only effecting 1 user out of 5 and the other 4 aren't having any issues and all 5 machines are configured the same. You only need to update the public folder hierarchy if you want to manually invoke the hierarchy synchronizer and the mailbox assistant.I've also tried a new mail profile but the same thing happens with the new mail profile.
The hierarchy synchronizer is invoked every 15 minutes if any users are logged on to a secondary mailbox through Microsoft Outlook or a Microsoft Exchange Web Services client.
