Is six months of dating a big deal

And suddenly being in my thirties adds a different spin to the relationship.

The Six Month Mark The thing about being with someone for 6 months, is that it feels like a relatively long time. We spend 4 or 5 nights a week together, out of convenience, as well as comfort, and in the last 6 months, The Rugby Boy has become my best friend.

I do not think it is something horrendous to do, though. Don't date a younger girl, if you think they are silly or immature.

It’s been a running joke throughout the early stages of our relationship that The Rugby Boy will be entered into the Guinness Book of Records for reaching that particular mile-marker.

It’s a slight exaggeration, and I’ve probably spent 6 months in a relationship with half a dozen guys over the years. But it’s interesting, because all of those relationships were in my teens and twenties.

I dated this guy for about 6 months, who was a macho attorney. To my surprise he introduced me out of the blue, to his parents and his ex-wife.

People always say that women, are the ones that have problems keeping casual relationships casual. I find that men have always been the ones that have wanted more in relationships, especially casual ones.

The first time you meet the parents, and they adore you (of course). These unexpected dating milestones, and how you handle them together, can determine how your couplehood evolves.
